We currently have 40 cats living freely here at The Mayhew. They’re quite happy living care free in our garden, in the communal cat room, on the roof…and just about anywhere else they can find! They are often overlooked but are still available for re-homing. There are many different reasons why these cats have been brought to The Mayhew. The majority were strays and therefore lacked a lot of social interaction, which has resulted in them being nervous and scared of human touch. Some of the cats would suit homes that can simply provide food, a nice bed to sleep in and a large garden/farm/stables for them to roam. Others are just a little nervous and require patience and TLC.
