Hello, I’m Marmalade and I’m a 9-month-old ginger female. I was a stray before coming to the Mayhew, but even so I am definitely used to people. I’ll jump up to greet you when you come through the door and I’m always pleased to see a friendly human face.
When I arrived here I was really poorly with cat flu, but after some medical treatment and plenty of TLC I’m fully recovered and feeling tip-top again!
You could call me a bit of a princess, as I absolutely adore being pampered! I’ll let you know how much I’m enjoying it too by rolling over and showing my belly and coming up close to ask for more. I can take a lot of loving but I do however, believe that you can have too much of a good thing and I’m not shy to let you know when I’ve had enough!
When I’m not being pampered by humans, I love to pamper myself! I’ll happily retreat to my bed for some preening and grooming – I think it’s only right for a lady to be looking nice and tidy!
I would love to find a new home with some friendly human companions and I would make a very loving pet for the right owner. I am looking for someone who’ll give me plenty of attention and interaction; an adult-only household or a family with more grown up children would be perfect.
