Hello my name is Bremner

I'm eight years young, a male Staffordshire Bull Terrier, who came to The Mayhew as a stray. I'm both calm and laid back and I adore people. I hate to be ignored and I will bark to get your attention if I feel I'm being left out. I'm well-behaved indoors and out, walk well on my lead and I'm responsive to commands. I'm told I'm an intelligent, intuitive gentleman, who seems to get along fine with other dogs. 

I'm a calm and affectionate dog and I like to gently hold peoples hands in my mouth. Ideally I'm looking for a new home without young children as I'm now ready now for a quieter home. I would suit someone who is experienced with dogs or has owned a Staffordshire Bull Terriers before. I will need at least one hour of off-lead exercise every day. I like my comfort and love nothing more than cuddling up on the sofa together, do you have a sofa big enough for me to share? My new guardians will be taking on a seven year commitment which must not be taken lightly.

Update June 2008 Bremner is a firm favourite with all the staff at The Mayhew, none of us can understand why such a sweet natured gentleman is still searching to find his new forever home.
