Hello my name is May
I’m a six year old female collie mixed breed. I don’t know why my owners abandoned me but I have been brought to The Mayhew to find a new home. I’m a very friendly girl who enjoys meeting new people and I also get on well with other dogs. I’m well-behaved, toilet trained and very responsive to commands. Active and lively I will need a minimum of one to two hours of off lead exercise every day. My new guardians will have owned dogs before, ideally collie types. My carers at The Mayhew haven’t had the opportunity to assess me around young children so they feel it would be best if I was homed with sensible older children only. I’m a very playful dog so an endless supply of tennis balls to play fetch with would be much appreciated. My new guardians will be taking on a nine-year commitment, which must not be taken lightly.
