Minnie

Minnie

Minnie is a lively 9-month-old neutered female ferret. Having previously lived with people with no understanding of how to look after ferrets, she would need to go to a home with plenty of ferret experience! Minnie is currently in a foster home living with children, cats and other ferrets (male and female) who she gets on with brilliantly. She hasn’t got out of the nipping behaviour when she gets too excited, so she would need a patient and confident owner who can encourage good behaviour.

She is used to living indoors with two other ferrets, so she would need be a live-in ferret and have ferret company, as well as a lot of human company. She should have at least 2-3 hours of out-of-cage supervised play daily.  Ferrets like to chew on everything, so her new home must be ‘ferret proofed’ before adoption.

Minnie will need to be re-homed to a responsible and knowledgeable ferret owner who knows how to correctly handle and care for a ferret. This will be an 8-10 year commitment that should not be taken lightly.

If you're interested in offering Minnie a loving, fully-committed, lifetime home or would like to know more about her, please visit The Mayhew Animal Home Sunday-Wednesday between 1pm - 3.30pm
