Hello my name is Speck. People tell me I’m a pretty black Rex crossbreed with small white patches – hence my name! I don’t know my exact age but I’m probably no older than 1 or 2. I was brought to the Mayhew after being abandoned in a garden when my owner moved and left my friends and me behind. I was so upset but my carers at the Mayhew have told me that they will never leave me on my own like that! I’ve made lots of new friends because I
run up to say hello and will take a tasty treat or piece of carrot from their hands. I am very inquisitive and like being naughty. I’m the first to investigate anything new and love shredding my paper, tossing my toys around the place and generally creating havoc. I am also the best at running up and down stairs and jumping over high fences!
Although I am friendly I don’t like being picked up and can be skittish so my main carer needs to be a grown-up or a responsible older boy or girl. I could easily be a house or outdoor rabbit. I would really love a best friend so if you have another single rabbit out there please come and see me.
If you're interested in offering me a loving, fully-committed, lifetime home or would like to know more about me, please visit The Mayhew Animal Home during viewing times. |
