Adopt me, Love me - Tink's Story

Tink arrived at The Mayhew in March 2010 after one of our Animal Welfare Officers was called out to rescue a stray cat in need. Sweet and loving Tink had clearly been living on the streets for some time and was desperate for some love and affection -and some good food!

Our poster girl for The Mayhew Awareness Month campaign quickly became a favourite of all staff, with her sweet and affable nature. Just wanting a cuddle and some comfort, this friendly feline has clearly been terribly miserable having to fend for herself living as a stray in inner city London.

Her charm made it very easy for us to take her photo for the campaign materials as she was happy to sit around and be snapped, as long as there was plenty of love to follow!

Happily, her perfect new owner arrived at the Home in late-April and Tink has finally found her happy, ever after.
