Miss Tibbs
Hello, my name is Miss Tibbs and I’m an 8 year old black and white long-haired female. I was found as a stray in horrible condition with severe anaemia, most of my fur gone and scabs all over my back. Turns out I have a very bad flea allergy and this was causing me a lot of discomfort so I lucked out when I came to the Mayhew!
I had been in foster care for some time so that I could rest and recuperate from my ordeal on the streets. As I got used to the comforts of living in a home, I slowly started to come out of my shell and relax a bit, and my fur has grown back here and there so I'm beginning to look really lovely. It took a while for me to realize I didn’t have to scrounge and fight for my food! Turns out I’m quite an affectionate little girl who just loves laying on the couch enjoying the latest offerings on TV. I love a good stroke and lounging on my sheepskin rug and I’m generally a very gentle, laid back girl.
I would need to find a nice, quiet home where my new owner can continue to build my confidence as I can still be a bit shy and unsure of myself. A sensible adult household without young children would be ideal and a lovely garden where I can have a potter about would be nice.
If you're interested in offering me a loving, fully-committed, lifetime home or would like to know more about me, please visit The Mayhew Animal Home during viewing times.
