Sponsor a Cat Cabin
A wonderful way of supporting the cats that come through the doors of The Mayhew is to sponsor a cabin in our cattery. At the Home, we have pioneered the use of state of the art animal units to provide a spacious, comfortable and light environment in which the cats can feel relaxed and secure.
The cat cabins have two tiers, separated by a cat staircase to allow for plenty of movement and play. The upstairs level is enclosed by a UPVC windowed door for a sense of cosiness, and a personal radiator for the cats to curl up next to in the colder months. We have also have lots of toys, climbing posts and bedding for all our residents. The walk-in design allows plenty of room for staff and volunteers to socialise with the cats and give them lots of attention, play and cuddling time.
By providing our cats with homely and secure surroundings at The Mayhew, cats such as Jack, pictured above, can have the positive environment and excellent care necessary while waiting to find a perfect new home and family.
