Reason for coming to The Mayhew: Due to her previous owner's longterm ill health

Cats? Yes providing the cats are very confident around dogs.

Older Children? Yes

Young Children? Yes, Eight years of age and upwards

House Trained? Yes

Period of time s/he can be left alone? Would suit someone who worked fulltime providing she is given an hour of off lead exercise before being left alone and is not left for longer than 4 hours without a break e.g by hiring a dog walker, pet sitter, or coming home at lunch time etc.

Suitable Home? Would suit an active first time owner who is fully prepared for the hard work and commitment involved in caring for a dog. They will also need to have fully researched her breed type.

Will need to go to training classes? Dependent on new guardians' experience.

Exercise requirements? Minimum of one to two hours of off lead exercise daily in a park or open space.
