Hello, my name is Sid

I am a handsome nine month old male, English Bull Terrier and German Shepherd crossbreed. I came into The Mayhew because my previous owner became pregnant so they decided they no longer wanted me.

I am friendly boy who has started the basic training I need. I am housetrained and I致e learnt the basic commands. Indoors I am very calm and well behaved, outdoors I am extremely active where I can sometimes get bouncy and over excited and forget my manners. My carers says I am a very smart boy who just needs help and guidance. I知 very friendly and affectionate with people I know, slightly aloof with strangers, and I知 very good with other dogs both in and out of the house. I love nothing more than running around and playing with other dogs in the park.I知 good with children of all ages, however due to my young age and training needs any children in my new home will need to be at least twelve years of age and upwards. I love my toys and I知 always up for a good game. I also love my cuddles; I知 a really soppy and gentle boy at heart.

I am looking for a new forever home with someone who is around for most of the day, although I can be left alone for a few hours providing I致e had a good run before hand. Ideally with someone who has owned active breeds before, someone who will take me to training classes and give me a minimum of one hour of off lead exercise in a park or open space every day. My new guardians will be taking on a fifteen year commitment, which must not be taken lightly.
