Daisy
Hello, my name is Daisy
I’m a six year old female Cocker Spaniel. I arrived at The Mayhew because my owner decided she no longer wanted me.
I am a gentle and sweet-natured girl. When I first arrived I was suffering with a womb infection, I've now been spayed and I'm feeling much better. I was also overweight but after plenty of exercise and a sensible diet I now have a healthy waistline. I am a very friendly girl, I'm good with everyone I meet and I also get along well with other dogs. I am well-behaved, toilet-trained, I know all the usual commands, I travel well in the car and I can be left on my own for a few hours without any problems. I'm also very affectionate and I like to cuddle up on the sofa with my foster carer. I also enjoy playing fetch with a ball.
I am now looking for a forever home with someone who has researched my breed type. I could live with a first time owner providing they are fully prepared for the hard work and commitment involved. I can also live with young children and I'd happily share my new home with another dog. My new owners will be expected to provide me with a minimum of one hour of off lead exercise in the park every day. If you’re interested in adopting me you will need to be fully prepared for the hard work and long-term commitment involved in caring for a dog, you will be taking on a ten year commitment, which must not be taken lightly.
I hope to see you soon

Daisy is currently living in foster care until her new forever home is found. If you are interested in adopting her you will need to visit The Mayhew first before going to see her in her foster home.
