Welcome to the July edition of The Mayhew Animal Home Online Magazine. Summer finally seems to be beginning and just in time for The Mayhew Animal Home as this Sunday 15th July brings our annual Open Day. The Mayhew Open Day is a great event for all the family and we talk about it more in this month's Fundraising Focus.

In this month's Volunteer Case Study we hear from Fran Llewellin, a Mayhew volunteer whose role at The Mayhew is to coordinate other volunteers and organise events. Also this month we take a look at the life of a happy ex-Mayhew staffie called Sophie and try to find a new home for current Mayhew cat Billy.
