Fundraising Focus: World Animal Week 
October kicks off with a lightening start as World Animal Week descends upon The Mayhew Animal Home. Celebrate a week of animal related fun with attractions including Tellington Touch workshops, free 'Pet MOT's', an animal blessing, and grooming demonstrations. With Christmas now just around the corner, we're delighted to be able to announce our first ever Celebrity Christmas Evening, to be held on the evening of Thursday 13th December. Taking place at St Mary Abbot's Church Hall, Kensington, London, W8, the event will be an evening of Christmas readings by a selection of our Celebrity Friends, including Andrew Sachs, Brian Sewell, Susan Lynch, Liz Smith and Sue Jameson. The event will also include music and carols led by professional opera singers, mulled wine and minced pies and a Celebrity Auction. All proceeds will go towards the upkeep of the animals in our care. Tickets are £45 each on a strictly first come, first served basis. Group bookings welcome - please ask about our group discounts.
