Open Day - Sunday 13th July 2008 
The Mayhew Animal Home's famed annual Open Day is back! This summer it's being held on Sunday 13th July and as usual will run from 12 - 4pm. Make sure you put it in your diaries now. As well as the street outside The Home being lined with stalls selling goodies for you and your pet, Mayhew merchandise, ice cream, bargain books for all, entertainment, tombola, advice, information and much, much more, we will also be opening up The Home for visitors to meet and greet the animals in our care as well as engage in a little alternative therapy and animal care demonstrations. And don't forget about the garden, where we'll be cooking up a storm at our barbecue as well as selling a delicious range of cakes and beverages Plus - Open Day needs your help! Do you have any new, quality goods that you could donate to Open Day? We are currently looking for tombola and raffle prizes for Open Day - any items such as boxes of chocolates, bottles of wine, bath gift sets, hampers, personal music systems or other suitable prizes will be greatly appreciated. 
Also, we're looking to fill those last few outside stalls - so anyone who runs their own small retail business or who has an arty and crafty hobby might want to consider taking a stall at Open Day and selling their goods to an eager audience. Pass this on to anyone you think might be suitable!
