A wonderful way of supporting Mayhew animals is to sponsor their rooms. At The Mayhew Animal Home, we have pioneered the use of state of the art animal units to provide cosy, hospitable and secure surroundings for every animal that passes through our doors.

Our logic is simple. We are working with animals who may have suffered terrible hardship and abuse, to find them loving new homes where they will feel safe and cared for. By providing animals with homely surroundings whilst at The Mayhew, a dog such as Luke pictured above can begin to make the mental adjustments that he needs, before finding a perfect new home with their perfect new family.

Dogs, cats and rabbits feel secure at The Mayhew and are given a real chance to show their true characters before moving on. This allows our staff to match the nature of a particular animal to their new guardian, and results in very few cats, dogs and rabbits being brought back to The Mayhew because of unanticipated issues. It also results in a much quieter environment at The Home than you might expect!

You can sponsor an animal unit for as little as £3 a month, and the process is quick and simple. Upon sponsoring, a personalised plaque will be placed on your sponsored unit and you will receive a sponsorship certificate, as well as regular pictures and updates about the current tennants of your room!

You can sponsor by standing order, or with a one off yearly sum, prices are as follows:

Dog Unit - £12 per month or £120 per year

Cat Unit - £9 per month or £100 per year

Kitten Unit - £5 per month or £50 per year

Rabbit Unit - £3 per month or £35 per year
